Nursery Assistant

Hi, I am Shena! I grew up in the west of Ireland in Galway. The town I lived in was surrounded by a lake and we would go swimming almost every day! I was trained as a hairdresser before moving to the UK when I was 18 to start a new adventure. The last couple of years I have worked as an au pair and loved it!

I am a musician and singer! I play guitar, ukelele, piano, tin whistle and cajon! Music is a big passion and influence for me. I also roller skate, practice yoga and kick boxing in my spare time!

I love working with children because they are 100% of the time unapologetically themselves! I come from a family of 10, with 15 nieces and nephews whom I used to look after. I help children learn best through creative outlets like music, drawing and painting. I look forward to being a part of your child’s early years milestones and watch them grow into fantastic human beings that they are.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Musician and singer
• Can play guitar, ukelele, piano, tin whistle and cajon
• Experience as an au pair
• Food Safety and Hygiene Level 2 certification
• Safeguarding Children (Level 2) certification
