On Friday 12th of April we had two very special guests come to visit our Preschool Room. Bruno the guide dog accompanied by his carer, Elizabeth came to speak to the children about the important work that guide dogs do to support people in the community who are visually impaired. In Bruno’s last job, he would help a man get to work by getting the bus and now he visits the patients at the hospital as part of their ‘pet therapy’ project! The Preschoolers were super engaged and gentle with Bruno and asked Elizabeth lots of questions about Bruno and his work.
