Children’s Mental Health Week 5 -11 February 2024

This week we are celebrating Children’s Mental Health Week!

This year’s theme is ‘My Voice Matters’ –  My Voice Matter is about empowering children and young people by providing them with tools they need to express themselves.

We focused on engaging children in a range of activities such as:

Finger Breathing – Using breathing techniques to give your mind a rest!

Yoga – To use the benefits of movement and stretching to improve our mental health

Making Sensory Bottles – These bottles are an excellent tool to aid relaxation, support emotions in the child, and provide a moment of enjoyment as they navigate through their emotions

Letter writing – Writing letters to create connections with our loved ones to support one another
