Room Leader - Babies

Hi, my name is Melissa and I am really excited to start my new journey in The Caterpillar Room. I am excited to get to know the nurseries youngest babies and learn from Mergime before she takes off on her maternity leave.

In the past I have worked as a Baby Room Manager, as a private nanny and even worked in Australia with young children for a period of time. I grew up in the Isle of Wight but now love the city life!

I have studied both my Level 2 and 3 in Childcare and I look forward to making a difference in your child’s learning and development in a safe and stimulating environment. Working with children is fantastic because of the progression that you can enable. Helping children to learn while playing is an incredibly positive and uplifting experience; I always enjoy watching their knowledge and creativity develop.

In my spare time I enjoy playing Tennis and long walks through the city taking in British Architecture.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Level 2 & 3 in Early Years
• Baby Room Manager in previous role
• Worked with children from birth to 7 years
• Pediatric First Aid Trained
